team play lan was awsum.....good CS , good Q3 , good ET and overall SWEEET day.... team work on the day went off ...... the only bad thing about the day was that train map on ET ... WTF what with that map lol :P (back and forth , back and forth) that was a funny map :P

quick summary.......The day was GOOOOOOOOOD some new faces made it interesting gameplay , finding out the "hard way" how they played (when they were on the opposition OUCH !) :shock:

Felt really bad for Troy better luck next time with the nic.... :cry:

WTF why was I captian in Quake?????????? YOU ARE ALL NUTS !

1.CS.........rocked ! good battles in all 3 maps but i loved trains the most 8) HEF u were white hot on 1 map there & so was scorp! Ads I just couldnt kill you no matter what I did .....damn !!!!!!!!!!

2. Q3Wave..............damn Scorp u still are almost impossible to kill.......
the terrible trio on the 1 team OMFG! are u all nuts ?????????

3. Wolf ET.........EXCELLENT ! took a while 2 get used 2 cause i hadnt played it b4 but once we found which way to go the battles were all good. WE NEED MORE of this game PLAYED.... that vault map is fkn huge.... what can i say bout the rail gun??? CHOOO CHOOOO . Sending that trian back & forth is so funny.........
Scorp was so cooooool being that infiltrating agent lol .......... all i kept hearing in all 3 maps was some1 just knifed me !!!!!!!! :lol:

So many battles against so many people in 1 day wasssssss alllllllllll good
Looking forward to the next1 I HOPE IT WILL BE REAL SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

Yep, it all went pretty well. I was originally dissappointed by the turnout, but it could have been a godsend. The games were still really good quality and the atmosphere was adrenalin filled !
It might even be worth bringing the regos down to 12 permanently - as they say, sometimes the smaller LANs are the best and the format really worked.
I was more exhausted after playing in Teamplay LAN, than I was organising last TD....and it was shorter !

Congrats to the "Grinner" who was a real surprise packet on the day.

It was the first time in 4 teamplay LANs that I was beaten as Quake3 captain. Pipped by Scorpions team on for-and-against ! I gotta practise some more ! :D

Actually, you are right. Yellow did win under Morpheus on for-and-against with my Team Red 2nd and Scorpions Team Blue 3rd all on 2 wins.

Only one tiny error, it was me who got the flag cap with 10 secs to go in CTF. It was a very funny capture from my point of view. I was on about 25 health and I was following Cannon Fodder (the enemy) all the way back to base. I didn't want to draw attention to myself so i just never shot him once so he didn't know I was there.

Also Cannon getting captain in nearly every game was quite hilarious too. "WHAT!?!? I'm captain again?!?". The terrible trio all voted for you too :)

As for voting, it goes to show strategy is not just in the games themselves......
Although its easy enough to counter Cannon, just pick the guys who voted for you in the draft :)

Greg you know my stratergy has always been to seperate those 4 @ TPL..........the previous TPL showed why , when 3 of them were left together in a team. They are goooooooood players.......

Countering their stratergy in voting is hard for 1 person 2 do !!! As for the pick I should have been yellow capt instead of green capt then I might have got 1 or 2 of em ;)
I wil get them nexttime................lets have TPL next weekend again, its a week b4 TD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
