Much awaited and anticipated, next TeamDamage will be on Sunday the 3rd of September, I got stuck with exams at the end of August, and very limited availability for the hall after August, I hope that this will suit most people.
We've got heaps of exciting new things happenning at the next LAN, like more PS2 & XBox 360 projectory coolness, there will also be another dance mat dance-off, but to keep things in the doof-doof spirit we will be borrowing some of the speakers from the Ballistics guys.
There will be some more silly comps, like a hardware toss to show off your muscles, plus all the usual TD shennanigans.
For the Old schoolers there will be some kind of Q1 battle, but plenty of new stuff for the young crowd as well.
Regos will open in about 2 weeks, but don't worry, you'll get an email or three about it when it happens, and the game lineup as well.

Sounds like a good event is in the planning!
I really hope alot of people turn up and get involved in the games!
Any team based comps being considered?
What fps games are people playing these days?
Ive upgraded to playing cs:s but im not sure cs at TD is still alive!
Would be good to get an fps deathmatch game cranking with the scores up on the projector!
:D cyas at TD!

Its still completley open to changes, but at this point the most likley things would be:
HL2 DM of some sort
CS just cos
Prey
Savage 2 is due to be released just before the event, and is free, so will be on there if it does become available
Mayhap some racing for a change, nfsmw maybe?
More PS2 and Xbox 360 + dance mat projector fun, this time with new sound system that will rock your socks. If we are really really lucky maybe some disco lights as well. Also we pretty have most any ps2 game made thats worth playing (600 odd titles) so if you want to play anything during that day, just walk up and ask.
Some kind of rts, fully open to suggestions here, maybe 2 games of C&C:G, one for begginners and one for experienced players? Its a fun game, but I always see poeple turned off playing rts, cos they know if they haven't played it before they will lose
Other than take, post your idea here, its still a way to go, so nothing is set in stone

howdi.
Im just curious what the turn out is like for these TD lans. I used to participate in some of the the old Cyberelectric lans, are they similar to those?? I have a group of people (6) that I guess, with alittle work, I could get them into shape for an upcoming LAN, although availability will depend on the date, since were all in our late 20's / early 30's we'll have prioritize
We are familiar with QWorld, C0d-2, Broody, CS source, War-3, Juiced, Prey, Q4 etc... But would be keen to give any other game a go.
Actually mite pop over to the next one to suss it out. Where is it again ??

It's at the PCYC in North Wollongong, map in this post: http://www.teamdamage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1910
Turnout is usually good, with something for everyone to play. Bring on the new people! Maybe some of you can even give our old schoolers a run for their money in some of the classics :D
