Multiplayer GTA:VC

Just wondering how many peeps would be interested in playing this at the next TD? admittedly still only in its beta stages, but i would love to give it a shot. and its a game i actually have a chance at owning people in ;D

ive been playing it and it was pretty buggy. Though i am on a dial-up playin on syd servers.

there's no cars no peds and pretty much nothing to do unless you get everyone into a line and have a race.

there's like a destruction derby ring and a dirtbike track, but not much else. Guns are provided when you spawn (some are scattered around too).

I've got the server files so if enough people make a hoo-hah we can play on the day. Leave a message here if youre interested and we'll see how we go

No cars, no peds... so there are no vehicles at all? What's the point of the dirtbike track/destruction derby then.

There is a small selection of cars at the spwaning point, and a few scattered around the city at choice locations.

You spawn at a hotel near the Malibu and then behind the maligu there are like jump gate things to the DD/DBT.

Like i said its still in beta at the moment and there isnt really that much to do, but was just wodering if anyone wanted to give it a burl anyway

we had a game of this at a house LAN, about 4 of us i think...took us a while to get it goin...but its VERY buggy, dunno if its worth playing even...

but it was pretty funny though...might give it another go.

/me hoo-ahh's. i love MTA its my new favourite game its so funny....oh btw there is cars but not with drivers, the stupidest thing is when u lagg and it takes 15 seconds to register that youve been jacked and well, your dead :cry: but then u get to spawn and shoot all the wheels off and they drive away like "wtf going on, me cars broken". all in all i find this game to be cool, and certainly involves a shot at the next td. Well at least, i, think so :roll: lol

Would be interesting if you could somehow complete the singleplayer missions with more than one person, eg. co-op mode. Only problem is changing the code to add another button, like "Get in the passenger door" or whatever. Because if you try to fit two people in a car, it'll just carjack someone. Bah.

The concept is good; for something built from scratch I highly applaud their efforts, would be nice to see Rockstar get behind them though. Hrm.

they posted some pics on the site and it looks like the next release will let you get in a car to "accompany" someone (as opposed to jacking them when you get in their car). check out the site.

but hef, lol, have you ever been lagging like really badly and you see someone approcahing you so u stop then you drive off turn the corner and 15 minutes later it says "You`ve been jacked" thats the most golden part of the game, hence i lub it. (yes, i emant to use a b on "lub" its -not- a typo). :lol:

Theres heaps of bugs, but it would be cool if there was co-op though. :D

yeah that would be awesome ey, i'd like to see that in the future.......the better thing would be if it was like DM and all the peddys (pedestrians) were in on it as well... :D btw hef at TD, did you want me to run a dedicated server cause i wont be playing it as much as i will be CS'ing....

ahhhh ok well you dont need to be a retard (:tard:) to realise that 56k sux for GTA:VC online. i lagg quite a bit on 521k (i think) ADSL,
but if ur into running around like a thug in games, this is the game 4 jOO.
