Many Takeaway stores a few minutes walk away. (eg Macca’s, Hungry Jacks, Subway, Pizza Hut etc..)

SMGL will provide a server for the following games:
Counter-Strike
Battle Field 1942 - DC
Many other games may also be played at the event such as:
Quake 3
Half-Life and its various Modifications
Battle Field 1942 and its various Modifications
Warcraft 3
Call of Duty
Unreal 2003
and many more!
Miscellaneous:
You are assigned an IP Address for the day.
You get your wrist band when you pay your money.
* You are most welcome to bring any extra machines to serve as dedicated servers. We would appreciate if you informed us beforehand if you are bringing a server.

Network cable (approx 5m in length, Cat5)

NB:SMC will have Cat5, power cables & Network cards NICs for sale on the day as well as heaps of hardware

At the moment there are 99/180 people registered for the next event so there are plenty of spaces left if you are interested in getting a few mates to come on down and play some awesome gaming.
If you intend on participating in this event, make sure you register at our website that you will be attending. Making an account on our website DOES NOT register you for the next event. Register for the event can be done by click the "Click here to register for the next event" or by clicking register under the LAN Details heading to the LEFT HAND SIDE (if on Default skin, other wise it’s on the bottom right hand side)
At this event SMGL in conjunction with XGESports will be hosting a Counter-Strike Competition. Information about this competition can be found on our information page on our website. Prize money for wining will be $200 cash! A competition ladder type thing (much like GA) is in the process of being made for our event, it will allow u to create a team, add members, and will have stats from all your matches at SMGL events.
Encase you are unaware SMGL also have an IRC channel located at #smgl on irc.enterthegame.com so please join and idle/talk with whoever is online. Our forums are also online, as well as a few new skins have been made.
SMGL "may" also be holding a competition for a Logo to be placed on the front of our T-Shirts and as well as our website but more will be posted on this later on.
Also, spectators will have to pay to stay at our event, if you are coming around thinking oh a LAN what’s this, I’ll have a look and see what’s going on, that is fine, but if u come in and intend on staying, you will have to pay, even if you don't have a computer.
This LAN is about having fun, so if everyone behaves then fun will be had buy all.
