Its Surprising....

after actually taking the time to read the TD history out of pure boredome. It is quite suprising to realise exactly how much has actually changed in the time since i started.
and the fact that it has actually been 3 years seems odd,maybe i just feel like making some kind of nostalgia thread...and i know with some of you it goes way back further than teamdamage...

time goes fairly quick....im sure you all agree... i dont know how much longer ill keep it up for either

ive met some really good people through lans, made some good friends...probably cus they are people i can relate to in some form...wether it be hobbies / humour or general ideals. i think lanning overall has bettered me as a person (while maybe not physically bettered...need...more...caffiene) so i guess im just saying kudos to the community for being champs. and indirectly influencing me.
anyway im off to do something constructive instead of leaking my boredome into the forum so take it easy chumps - FenR|R/EnigmA

thanks for drawing my attention to the history section. i don't have alot of internet time in my current location so i didn't even know it was there. after reading it I don't think it was intend to be the complete history. maybe it should be renamed to "how TD got started" or "in the beginning".

The complete history of TD is much much more involved. 3 pages wouldn't even do it justice. thats only a page a year.

nigz -nostalgia is good. as far as history goes. one of the best things the history of TD has (as you have said) is some of the really cool people you met along the way. and what even stands out more are some of the awesome gaming memories you get. most of mine hinge around been involved in close clan battles. i have been part of some amazing games of quake, wolfenstien, unreal tourn, car racing(V8 challenge) (and even CS) that have gone right down to the wire. thats what i remeber the most. winning or losing (thoguh proberly mostly losing) by a single point or second.

it great to reflect on the past as it inspires you for the future. while i write this I so much what to get to the next TD and start fragging (read- be fragged :cry: ) oh well i'll have to wait for the next one.

I remember one of the first TD's I went to, I saw this guy at the end of the row with long hair (thought he was a girl at first looking from behind) and he was playing the most awesome game at the time "Max Payne". I went up cautiously thinking he was some tough bastard and to my suprise he seemed friendly. So we had a bit of a chat about the game, computers and lanning (of course!) and as they say the rest is history.
