Well the last of the brush fires have been put out, the walls are bricked up again, looks like we had another successfull Teamdamage!
Big thanks go out to all who helped on the day, admins, random-stuff-doers, too many people to mention them all here, we couldn't have done it without you!
The day itself was quite busy with 40 people in attendance, the new club memberships process went very smoothly and everyone was able to get in and get their freak on in short order.
The comps throughout the day were quite exciting starting off with a longish Half-Life 2 Deathmatch comp with almost 20 players, I don't think Ive ever had so many random items blasted at me at supersonic speed before ;) The comp was bloody but eventually Dan managed to come out on top and score himself an 80Gb hard drive, congrats Dan. Closely followed by Helios who scored himself a 25pk of DVD's, well done Helios.
Next up we had the CS marathon, an epic trial of everyones skills. Unfortunatley due to a stats server problem we were unable to get everyones final score but the top 4 were Xylem_7, Conseive, eza and Dan, with Xylem_7 and Conseive scoring themselves a 25pk of DVD's each.
Then we launched into the Wolfenstien Enemy Territory battle, and after a little confusion with the map objectives a very heated battle ensued with victory going to the team led by Campo, who scored a 25pk of DVD's for his command skills, and all other teammantes getting a packet of chips to recharge them for CoD. For the record Mo-Girks walked away with "my work here is done"
Call of Duty United Offensive was up next and after a pitched battle the victor was declared to be Brunsk, proud claiment of the last 25pk of discs, and free drinks to all the supporting team members.
Due to time constraints the Tribes match had to be canned on the day, we just spent too long playing all the other games, doh! Well, the next TD date hasn't been set yet but should be in the vincinity of 6 weeks from now.
Thanks again to all who came along and got involved in the action, see you all again next time.
Cheers
