teamplay lan opens 9:30 and closes 10:30pm but do i have to stay for the WHOLE time?

if not what times do i have to stay for without getting blacklisted?

I'd check the site duder...

I think it says you have to be able to stay the whole time, but who knows, they might make an exception or something.

Its say clearly on the site in the rules part of the registration page, the following 2 rules :-

You MUST be in attendance at the LAN from 10am until 6pm.

Aswell as :-

You MUST play in ALL scheduled matches.

...and finally :-

Please note that breaking of the rules will result in you being put on the Black List

That should answer your questions. Please read the site information.

2. You MUST bring your computer with ALL the required games, patches and maps ALREADY installed on your computer and ready for action

i can have all the required games installed, but patches and maps im not too sure about since im only on dial-up

EDIT: I can get all the patches except threewave (friend has it)

so cna i just install threewave on the day? i got a fast comp so it will take about 5 min

The main thing with having pre-installs is that everyone is ready to go by 10:30am and there are no holdups with last minute unforseen "technical difficulties"

If you need a patch or something, then you CAN come at 9:30, get setup and do any last minute patching, as long as you know what you're doing, have lined it up with someone else to provide the patches and are all set to go by start time.

Wolfenstein ET is freeware from my understanding and yes you do have the right link there. Its something like 258MB from memory (dont quote me on that)

As for RTS, well apart from game time issues, there is the popularity issue. It appears like we might be struggling as it is for numbers with mainstream games, let alone trying to run a fringe RTS.
